Dear Ms *******
We have received your application for residence permit.
Upon reviewing your documents we find that the enclosed acceptance letter shows a different name from your passport. In order to have a study permit granted, you must provide an acceptance letter in your own name.
You can try contacting the university in Norway, and ask to have a new acceptance letter issued in your correct name.
If you have recently changed your name, you can provide documentation confirming the name change. You have included an excerpt from your family register, but this does not provide any details about your name change. Japanese documents must further be translated by a competent and impartial translator. The attached translation does not give any information about who translated the document, and we recommend using an established translation company for these services.
You may submit additional documents, or we can transfer the application for processing with the documents we have received. We must however let you know that it is a chance that your application will be denied if you do not submit additional documents. Please let us know how you would like to proceed.
Regards
